Do you want to learn how to grow and design your very own mushroom material? Then this is the class for you!
This beginner-friendly, 4-hour workshop will teach you all of the basics of mycelium cultivation, from propagating cultures, to preparing substrate, and proper molding. The course begins with a lecture session covering the basics of fungal growth and cultivation, how to design with mushroom material, and Q&A with an expert mycologist. Next, participants will visit rotating stations, gaining hands-on experience with each step in the growth and fabrication process in just one afternoon.
Each participant will bring home an easy-to-follow cultivation guide and a piece of self-made mycelium decor.
No prior experience necessary. Group size is limited to 10 to ensure a relaxed learning environment.
August workshop is Saturday, 30 August from 1 pm - 5 pm.
